Strzelecki Community Alliance Inc. (SCA) is a community group united to fight the inappropriate deployment of renewable energy technologies in a unique part of Gippsland (Victoria, Australia). 

The Delburn Wind Farm is sighted in a well-recognised bushfire prone area, with around 6000 residents living 5km from any one turbine. Late 2025, the 33 x 250m high wind farm has been bailed out by the Victorian Government’s SEC. The cost of the development has ballooned from $320m to a reported $700m. Taxpayer money will be injected into a wind farm whose infrastructure has been acknowledged by the Minister for Planning to be partially or totally destroyed by bushfire at least once in the lifetime of the development. The threat to lifestyles, health, rights and financial security means the SCA will fight for those most impacted.     

We are asking anybody who objects to $700m of Victorian taxpayer funds being used by the Victorian State Government to resuscitate a project the market deemed non-viable to download and sign the paper petition AND sign the online petition. Click on the links below:
